love treats.

i made a few things for valentine's day yesterday. strawberry (pink, duh!) cupcakes with a purple/pink frosting and white choc. chips for a meeting i had monday night (although i was unable to go after catching the flu at 4 am monday...on top of my cold from thursday). i also made basically the easiest dessert ever-pecan rolo pretzels...but instead of rolos and pecans, i did caramel misses and pink m&ms. i had intended on bringing them into my art four class for v-day, however, i wasn't there...thank you, sickness. a day late isnt bad though, right?

i got these cute liners at michaels!

place waffle/grid pretzels on a sheet of parchment on a baking sheet...

...peel kisses (or rolos is doing the original recipe) and place on top...

place in oven at 200 degrees for about 3 minutes (the candy will get shiny). pull it out and smoosh it down with the m&ms (or pecans)!
