april showers bring...april flowers!

it has rained like crazy here. i swear, we get fabulous weather for a few days then it turns to cold (with a few hours of sleet/snowiness) and then a few days of cold rain. i normally love love love rain- the smell, how it makes my hair so soft, and the sound it makes. but the rain we have had has been blah.
i went around our house today and saw the beautiful tulips blooming and the tree/branch thing by our front door covered in little white blossoms and it just made me so happy. even though the saying goes, "april showers bring may flowers," i think the flowers have come a little early-which is just fine with me :)
